DateNite Acro – Fridays

Acroyoga is perfect for a Friday date night. This workshop is bae approved and guaranteed to be a fantastic start to your evening. Grab your partner and your gym clothes and let go of everything else while you reconnect. Geared specifically for couples, we make this assessable for every body no matter your experience level. So even if you can’t touch your toes or do a pushup you’re good.
Build trust, communication skills, and muscles…together. After the workshop we will have a treat and then its up to you if you want to stay around and hop in the sauna or hot tub. Just saying.

AcroYoga Basics – Beginner

These super fun drop in style workshops are perfect for those working at a beginner level and those with zero acroyoga experience. Workshops last 2hrs and we cover safety, foundational positions/transitions, etiquette/consent, and basic conditioning. Specifically we address how to modify and make everything accessible. Sore, wrists, shoulders, tight hamstrings etc. are definitely a thing, we introduce some basic principles of alignment and self care to keep safe and healthy.

This is a great “taster” style workshop. Meet new people, move, sweat, challenge yourself, and laugh your ass off. After the workshops Edmonton’s acro community meets at Full Force for a weekly practice session called a “Jam”. We do this every Sunday. You’re more than welcome to stay and practice your new moves and meet others from the community. Cause thats really what Acro is about, doing fun stuff with cool people. We know breaking into a new group can be intimidating so we have designated people every jam to help you feel more comfortable and keep you safe.

Advanced Acroyoga for Beginners (intermediate) 

Been doing acroyoga for a while and eager to learn new, more challenging stuff? Come learn the tips and tricks and take your practice to a new level. Join Colin and a special guest teacher/s for any or all of these challenging workshops. Stay and jam after the workshops also and bring a bathing suit, come hang in the sauna after.

We will be introducing unique material as well as more traditional stuff, all depends on who comes to visit. This is a great chance to expand your practice and learn from other teachers and experienced professionals. Everyone has had a unique experience and is super excited to share their love of this practice with you.
